Gave the Twingo it’s first proper inside and out clean and polish. Looks ten times better than it did before hand.

I like the white steelies. They work very well on this.

Thanks they really lifted it, the old hub caps were awful. I need to finish painting them, the other side is still black/ rust haha.

Haha I had to mention him since he’s our resident detailing guy.

Just a regular store bought shampoo and some Autoglym polish. Simple two bucket method, wipe down with microfibre cloth to get rid of streaking then polish.

Man, that looks nice... I actually quite like my hubcaps, but I really want to paint my wheels, now. I’d look like a bit of a Rallye wannabe, though.

Thanks, I like it way more than the plastic caps it had when I bought it. Alloys would’ve hit my wallet too hard so painted steelies it is.

Thanks. My hubcaps looked extemely cheap, plus they were badly curbed. I was inspired by the Rallye haha, yours would look good painted I think.

looking good for the summer. Nothing quite like giving the car a bit of pre-summer pampering to start it right.

If you want to try some stuff, let me know. I’ve some Migliore Cima Sealant and Quick Detailer coming from across the pond which is amazing on black and incredibly easy to use, especially for black cars.

Wanted to do the same today. But I am too lazy and don’t have my own driveway. :(

I borrowed my grandparents driveway haha. I’ve been putting it off for a while so the car was pretty gross.

Yeah it is nice having it looking it’s best. Although one 40 mile drive and it’s already peppered with bugs...

Thanks for the offer, I just used some of my grandads Autoglym stuff for this wash.

I quite like detailing myself, but he is our number 1 for sure!

Do you like the Autoglym stuff? Buffer or by hand?

He’s just the one identify with it since he’s always happy to chat about it/ give advice.

It did the job, although it was very difficult to get rid of streaks. Just applied by hand with some microfibre cloths.

He is a great detailer. I enjoy talking to him about products, techniques, etc...

I hate streaks! Did you clay before hand? That might've contributed to the difficulty of you didn't

Na I literally shampood, thoroughly dried it and polished by hand. I was limited by time and cash so I just used what I already had. Once I get a couple chips and scratches fixed I’ll probably do a better wash.

Yeah, I would definitely recommend clayongn before polishing. You can get a lot at a store for <$20.

I forgot to ask, what wax did you use?

We didn’t have any wax so I just put some polish on it. This was just a very quick wash using what I had lying about. One day I’ll do it properly haha.
